November 2023
As you already know, at the end of each one of my monthly letters, I ask all of my partners to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, which includes the entire nation of Israel. As you probably know, the nation of Israel was attacked on October 7th, just a few weeks ago, by the terrorist group known as “Hamas”. As well, another terrorist group known as “Hezbollah” has been firing missiles into Israel, and now the United States has become involved in this conflict, after several of our military bases in the Iraq have been under fire and our military has bombed two compounds which house weapons and ammunition in Syria, who have been supporting and backing the terrorist groups.
So say this could be the start of World War Three (WWIII). As the Apostle John was given the vision of the last days and the end times in the Book of Revelation, he wrote what he saw. Some Bible scholars believe as do I, that what John saw was World War Three. Here is what John saw and wrote: “And in my vision, I saw the horses and the riders sitting on them. The riders wore armor that was fiery red and sky blue and yellow. The horses’ heads were like the heads of lions, and fire and smoke and burning sulfur billowed from their mouths. One-third of all the people on earth were killed by these three plagues — by the fire and the smoke and burning sulfur that came from the mouths of the horses. Their power was in their mouths, but also in their tails. For their tails had heads like snakes, with the power to injure people.” (Revelation 9:17-19 NLT)
It’s my belief through study on end times, that this war will be the last great war, which will ultimately lead to the final conflict known as the “Battle of Armageddon” in which Jesus Christ will come back with His Saints to wage war on the antichrist, the beast, and the false prophet. He will set up His earthly Kingdom for one thousand years, while we will rule and reign with Him for those one thousand years.
I am not interested in theological debates, or religious arguments, but one thing I know for sure, and that is that Jesus Christ is coming soon for His Church, and He wants us to be ready at His appearing. This is why it is so important for you and me to continue daily to pray and intercede for our nations, our leaders all over the world. The Apostle Paul instructed his son in the faith (Timothy) to do so, which includes you and me. “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
Our “Intercessory Prayer Team” does this Monday through Friday, as well as Wednesday Evenings and Sunday Mornings. But not only do we pray as Paul instructed us, but we also pray for you and your families as well. Paul included “all men” because the Lord’s Will is that “all men” would come to the Lord and be saved.
I am encouraging you to keep interceding and praying. As you pray in the spirit (with other tongues), people all over the world are being impacted by you, yes YOU! The entire world needs your prayers each and every day. This is why I am asking you, if it’s possible, right where you are, to form a prayer group and to pray for our nations, and the world. Remember, God’s will will ultimately be done, but He still requires us to pray and intercede. God told the Prophet Ezekiel, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.” (Ezekiel 22:30)
I don’t know about you, but I want to be found, but not only found, but found faithful to what the Lord has called me to do and that’s to pray. Like I always say to you, God is not finished with you, so whatever you do, don’t give up, don’t cave in, and don’t quit! God will keep His Word and His Covenant to you. I also want to encourage you to spend time each and every day, praying in the Holy Spirit. Stay in faith. Stay in the Word. Keep speaking the right things and making the right confessions of faith. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; and remember “God loves you; we love you and JESUS IS LORD!”
In the Service of Our King,
