There is a realm that exists, which is more real than this natural, physical, three-dimensional realm that we live in. This realm is called the realm of the spirit. It’s the realm in which God Himself abides in. Over the years it has become a reality to me, because Jesus explained to us in John 4:24 that God is a Spirit. This then tells us that since God is a Spirit, and He created all things, including the natural, physical, three-dimensional realm where we abide, that the God and the spirit realm is more real than this natural real we live in.

In this realm there are agents who do God’s bidding and the Bible tells us they are sent to help you and I. The Apostle Paul tells us in Hebrews 1:14, “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent for to minister for them who shall be the heirs of salvation?” These ministering spirits Paul is referring to angels of God! The awesome thing is this, they are sent to minister for you and me—the Believers who have made Jesus Christ their Savior and Lord.

God has given His angels to watch over us, protect us, and bring things to us. In other words they are to operate on our behalf and help us in this earth realm. Angels have the assignment to bring the things we need and desire to live the overcoming victorious life in Christ, from the spirit realm into the physical realm.

One thing we need to understand is that everything in this physical three-dimensional realm which we can see and touch around us, was first manifested in the spiritual realm and was then brought to pass or brought from the spiritual realm into this physical realm.

Paul tells us in Ephesians 1:3, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” The truth and reality of this verse is that the Angels of God have the assignment to bring these spiritual blessings from the spirit realm into the physical to us where we abide.

I like to use this illustration, and I believe it will help you. The Angels of God are sitting on the side-lines of your game of life. They are waiting for you to give them an assignment and allow them to get involved in your life. Angels cannot just do things without your permission to do so. The Psalmist David gives us insight as to how this works.

In Psalm 103:20-21, he says, “Bless the Lord, you His Angels who excel in strength, who do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His Word. Bless you the Lord, all you His Hosts, you ministers of His who do His pleasure.”

You see, it’s up to you and me to speak God’s Word! As we speak God’s Word, His Angels are listening very carefully to the words we speak. If those words line up with God’s Word and we command them to go forth and bring to pass what it is that we need or desire, as the Angels are commissioned, they go where they need to go, they do what they need to do, they touch who they need to touch and they get what they need to get and bring it to pass by manifesting it in the Believer’s life. What an awesome thought. This is why we can rejoice in knowing that it will come to pass.

Over the years I’ve had people ask me why there is a time element between the time you pray, commission your Angels, and what you are believing God for actually manifests in the physical realm. The answer can be found in the Book of Daniel.

As Daniel had prayed to the Lord, He was waiting for an answer from the Lord. When the answer finally came, the Angel of the Lord explained to Daniel what had happened, and why the answer to his prayer had been delayed.

Daniel 10:10-14 tells us “And behold, a hand touched me, which set me on my knees and on the palms of my hands. And he [the Angel of the Lord] said to me, ‘O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for to you am I now sent.’ And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling. Then said he to me, ‘Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and to chasten yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come for your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days. but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Now I have come to make you understand what shall befall your people in the latter days, for yet the vision is for many days.’”

This is why it’s so important for us to never give up, cave in or quit. We need to continually keep speaking and proclaiming God’s Word and praying in the Spirit. As we do so, it’s like giving our Angels special fuel to bring our prayers, our needs and our desires to pass. Remember what David said in Psalm 34:7, “Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

I want to encourage you to stay in faith, stay in prayer, stay in the Word every day, make your daily confession, pray in the spirit for our nation, our leaders, and all who are in authority, pray for the peace of Jerusalem; and remember “God loves you; we love you and JESUS IS LORD!”
